Mas Merolla, at an altitude of 1120 m above sea level , is surrounded by mountains and landscapers of natural interest, close to the villages of Gombrčn and Pobla de Lillet, where you can enjoy splendid views of the Catllarŕs hills and Pedraforca.

The legendary Count of l'Arnau, originally from Gombrčn, left innumerable places to visit, such as the ruins of his castle, the "Forat, de Sant Hou" tunnel, the “Gorga dels banyuts” gorge, and the museum which bears his name.

Not forgetting of course a visit to the Montgrony Sanctuary and its Romanesque church, where you can find a splendid place of prayer and thought.

In Pobla de Lillet you can visit some of Gaudi's lesser known architectural jewels, the Artigas gardens, an exceptional spot, and the “xalet del Gatllarŕs”, designed by Gaudí and built by engineers from local coal mines.

In Castellar de N'Hug, you can find the famous Font del Llobregat, the source of the river Llobregat.

The natural beauty spots Núria, Vall Ter, and La Molina are also close by.
